Guadalajara, Mexico



Guadalajara is the capital city of the state of Jalisco and the second most populous municipality in Mexico. Also, Guadalajara’s airport is the third most active of the country with direct flights to many Mexican and American cities. It is characterized by its architecture and interest places some of which worth mentioning are: The Cathedral, which construction began in 1561; El Templo de Santa Maria Gracia (The Church of St. Mary Grace), temple built in 1661; El Templo de Aranzazu, a church having ultra-baroque and churrigueresque-style altarpieces; and Templo de Santa Monica, church built in 1704.
