Barbados is one of the most sought after vacation and tourism spots in the Caribbean. According to the World Travel Awards, travel agents worldwide voted Barbados to be the Caribbean’s leading destination for 2005.
Barbados has continued to attract many visitor arrivals for major markets and cruise ship passengers for 2009 and 2010. With sports and health tourism being viable economic options for Barbados bringing more visitors to the island seeking sports, fun, entertainment and health related treatment.
